At Jeffries we are focussed on receiving, processing and marketing recyclable organic resources. We work closely with councils and businesses across the state to achieve this goal, and have built a large network of customers that we receive recyclable materials from.
The materials that we receive range from kerbside green organics and clean green materials, which includes lawn clippings, garden prunings, leave, grass and trees. We also receive clean timber including pallets and wooden crates, and wet organic resources such as grease trap material from restaurants.
One of our biggest areas of growth is receiving food organics from restaurants, cafes, hotels, food processors, supermarkets, schools and even office buildings.
The organic material is collected separately and transported to the Jeffries EPA licensed facility to be processed into valuable compost, soil and mulch products.
